Well it is that time of year…wedding season!
If you are like me and in your mid-20’s…your social media feeds are probably full of engagements and weddings. Spring and Summer tend to bring so many weddings on weddings.
As you guys probably know, last weekend we went to Bueil to celebrate Laurent’s cousin’s wedding. I got a ton of comments from you guys on the dress that I wore to the wedding so, instead of doing a regular blog post simply featuring the dress, I actually decided to do a wedding guest dress roundup with 5 outfit suggestions that would be great for spring and early summer.
Once you know what the dress code is, you can figure what to wear that’s appropriate but still chic. Just because it’s a wedding, doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with your outfit! Here are some of my fave brands and options for not so basic dresses to wear to a wedding.
Of course florals aren’t groundbreaking for Spring, but I do love all of the tropical prints this season. Palm prints are in and perfect for destination weddings and any other summer soiree you have on the calendar.
I love that slip dress is everywhere this season on everything. It has a romantic, retro vibe that is both playful and sophisticated. A slip dress would be perfect for any moment – a daytime or evening in/outdoor wedding.
Sorbet is my favorite color trend this season. Instead of the usual soft pastels, this spring’s palette also includes bright lime, lemon, and peach. I’m all about these cheerful hues, especially for wedding célébrations!
If you’re looking to make a statement at a Spring wedding, be sure to stock up on puffy sleeve pieces, indulge your wildest princess families and play day-to-day dress up. It’s fun, and 2018 and 2019 are practically begging you to do so.
